Walgreen Selling Eet N Wild Halloween Makeup?
Hello!
Halloween is 'nigh, what are you planning on wearing on your nails?
Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Nail Colour drove this yr is pretty awesome I think. I found three more colors I wanted to bank check out recently at Walgreens.
Without farther ado…
Creepy Pumpkin, Regal Potion, Glow in the Night
Creepy Pumpkin
Creepy Pumpkin is a orange jelly with orange glitter. Information technology'southward utterly amazing to stare at but a huge PITA the apply! Information technology was super thick and actually hard to work with. But I kind of feel like information technology was worth it because information technology's so shiny and sparkly. I did employ three coats simply you can still see my smash line a petty bit.
Imperial Potion
Majestic Potion is a blackness base with imperial glitter. Vampy, dark, shimmery and cool. This was much easier to employ than Creepy Pumpkin and I just needed two coats.
Glow in the Dark
Well this was interesting! I never realized how damn difficult information technology is to have a decent photo with a glow in the night product. Took forever, I tried with ii cameras, and I simply wound up with this. Merely you get the idea. You lot paint on three coats and information technology basically looks like a slightly yellowish articulate polish. Hold your hand upward to a lite for xxx seconds or so, turn off the lights and BAM, it glows.
Availability: Walgreens
Pricing: $1.99
Loving any of these for Halloween?

That glow in the night smooth looks intriguing, just i don't think I desire to incriminate myself by letting people know where my hands go in the dark. 😛
Purple Potion is awesome.

Yes, it's and so difficult to take glow-in-the-nighttime photos! I've tried, and mine come up out really blurry no matter what setting I've put my camera on. If anyone has tips, delight share! (I've seen some photos that are super sharp, and I can't' figure out how they did that…well, unless information technology was a realllly great Photoshop job!)

My advice would exist don't shake or motility AT ALL when taking the photo!!! Which is very hard to do since the shutter is going slower in the night and the tiniest motility volition mess it up. A tripod is the all-time solution but even at that the mitt yous are taking a film of tin can not move one tiny bit either! I managed to get 1 decent pic when taking a picture of my glow-in-the-dark ghosts without a tripod: http://xoxosnowflake.blogspot.com/2011/10/ghostly-night.html Oh and I only used the auto setting on my camera!

I wonder what Glow in the Dark would like in combination with another color? If it'south a slightly yellowish clear polish, could you endeavour it over Creepy Pumpkin, for example? It possibly wouldn't change the original appearance of Creepy Pumpkin, merely would be a surprise in the nighttime?

Problem with this is that you take to put several of GITD polish on before it glows well. If you want to discover matching colours, endeavour looking at some identify like Claire's or Ardene.

I read a review of the Prc Glaze (I think) Halloween nail polishes, and the consensus seemed to be that you can paint the GITD polish over other colors, but information technology does exit a kind of milky, hazy cast over the smoothen. I'chiliad guessing that GITD probably works all-time over a creme smoothen, and that yous'd lose the spectacularity of any shimmer or glitter underneath.

I picked these up at 1 of my local drugstores– I couldn't resist the cute bottles! I wish the formula on Creepy Pumpkin was better, because I think the end product is gorgeous and I love the color. Purple Potion is great. Great color and a much better formula. Haven't tried the glow in the dark polish still.

I bought the glow in the dark and loved looking at my hands in the night. To be honest I didn't really beleive information technology would work. I really layered over Power Clutch by Essie. It made the gray much softer and a bit matte simply nonetheless it was absurd. I really didnt recall much of the orange and black but at present that I see information technology on your hands, I think the orange is great, fifty-fifty tho it is a pain, I figure I will probably only wear it once so its ok. I recall I am going to end at Rite Assist and pick it up! Thanks for the great swatches!

Aw, my stupid RiteAid NEVER has whatever of these cool seasonal things! Or else they sell out immediately. I'd buy the glowy one merely for the fun canteen…and, obvs, because of the glow-in-the-nighttime-ness.
And dude, practice non even become me started on taking pics in the dark. It takes me like fifteen tries to go a decent swatch pic in *normal* calorie-free. And even then, the only thing I've found that gets good color and shine representation on the polish (and doesn't make my fingers look like microwaved hot dogs) is to stick my hand under the shade of my bedside lamp. Clearly I need a better photographic camera…

I find GITD polishes photograph much more nicely under black light than they do just glowing in the nighttime 🙂
I saw the blackness smooth with the orange glitter at Wal-Mart, but have yet to see these. Hope they come here soon, because Pumpkin and Potion accept me drooling! Might put some thinner in Pumpkin if I find information technology likewise goopy, though.

So I didn't take a problem with my bottle of Creepy Pumpkin, but I know quality controls sucks. Too, I believe Regal Potion is a gull for Wet 'north' Wild Shine smash color in Night Prowl, which is a dollar cheaper.
