How To Draw Disney Princesses Together Step By Step

Looking for a super cool art project? The official Disney Princess YouTube channel has brought together some of the company's top artists to teach you how to draw Disney Princesses and other popular characters. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow, so thousands of people of different artistic levels have been getting in on the fun — including some celebrities.

Which Disney Characters?

Classic and contemporary Disney Princesses are available, all drawn in tradition movie style, with easy step-by-stp instructions. They include:

Ariel from The Little Mermaid
Belle from Beauty & the Beast
Rapunzel from Tangled
Jasmine from Aladdin
Snow White and Pocahontas from the movies bearing their names.

Other Disney characters to draw in the traditional style include Dopey from Snow White and Pascal from Tangled. There is also a series featuring characters ranging from Prince Charming to Moana but they're done in a more comic book style.

Who Are the Artists?

What sets this series apart from other YouTube tutorials is that the characters are drawn by official Disney artists. They include Kim Kha, Senior Character Artist for Disney Consumer Products; David Pacheco, Creative Director at The Walt Disney Company; and Steve Thompson, former animator and now Principal Artist for The Disney Stores.

Who's Drawing?

Everyone, it seems, is getting in on the action and sharing their art on social media. Below, right, from Noelle (age 11), and on the left is from Malia (not age 11).

One famous face who posted a video of his drawing was actor Sean Hayes, who plays Jack on the NBC TV show Will & Grace. As you can see, this is about having fun.
